I love X-Plane
| March 16th, 2010I’ve been a casual flight simulator enthousiast for a long time just to get my fix until I have the resources to go get my private pilot license (PPL). Recently I have sold my console and TV so that means during relaxation I can spent much more time on this hobby and with my dream in mind I take this a bit more serious. I’ve recently purchased a CH Flight Yoke and for the first time in my life rudder pedals. Weehaa, I knew this would make a lot of difference flying planes especially with crosswinds but I never thought this would make such a big difference. Having all the primary controls physical in front of you let’s you focus on flying. Today I will get my theory books for my PPL that means I can start reading it, practicing it until that beautiful day when flixzie steps into a real plane and learns to fly. IN the mean time you can watch one of my virtual flying adventures in X-Plane which is a take off, visual approach and landing of a MD-11 (a superb tri-jet plane one of my favorites) on runway 26, Innsbruck, Austria, Europe. Planes and mountains somewhere I feel at home
