Welcome to the band
| December 25th, 2008Last Saturday I did my first rehearsal with the Stingrays. The Stingrays is a band on Bonaire playing, ska, reggae and punk rock. We rehearsed without the singer first. I use my laptop to generate a real B3 Hammond sound. This was really good fun and the other guys also really liked it. The drummer is on a short vacation now and we will start full fledge rehearsing in the new year. The ambition is to have a gig just before I leave the island. For now leaving the island is something I don’t think about. I love it here, I’m at peace and feel happy on this small island in the Caribbean sea.
